Answers to the most common Outpick questions.
Open Picks, choose a side on each required game, and save. Every game locks at its own kickoff — you can change any pick until that game starts. You'll see a confirmation when each pick is saved.
Your score on a game is the final margin plus the Outpick line. Win big and you score big; lose and the margin goes against you. Your round total is the sum of your picks. See the Rules page for examples.
Each game gets one official Outpick line, published before anyone can pick and frozen forever after. Every player in your league picks against the same number, no matter when they pick. Lines never move after publish.
Picks stay hidden until each game kicks off. As games start, everyone's pick on that game reveals automatically. Future games stay hidden.
If you don't complete your picks before lock, your league's missed-pick penalty applies (set by your commissioner). Turn on pick reminders in Profile → Notifications.
When a round ends in a tie, your league's tiebreaker decides it — by default, your prediction of the total points in the designated game. Enter it on the Picks page before that game locks.
Anyone can create a league. Pick a sport, a plan, and your rules. Share the invite link or QR code — players can join until your league's join deadline. A league activates after payment.
Leagues can start any round of the season. If you join late, you start from the league's current round — there's no backfilling of past rounds, and standings use average points per round so late starters compete fairly.
Each round you're matched against one league rival. Your picks face off directly, and swing games — where you picked opposite sides — are highlighted live.
Outpick AI grades every game 0–100 against the official line and can build a suggested card. Edge analysis locks at kickoff and never changes retroactively. AI is educational — it's not betting advice.
League plans are one-time per season; Outpick+ is an annual subscription. Manage or cancel in Profile → Billing. Charges appear as OUTPICK. Refund requests go to support@outpick.me.
Get pick reminders, game-start alerts, results, and chat notifications by email and push. Control everything in Profile → Notifications, including quiet hours.
If a score or result looks wrong, use Report issue on the game or contact your commissioner. Outpick resolves issues by fixing the underlying game data and automatically re-scoring — never by hand-editing your score.
If you go offline, a banner appears and picks pause until you reconnect. Saved picks are stored on the server the moment you see the confirmation — a closed tab never loses them.
Outpick works as an app: on iPhone, Share → Add to Home Screen; on Android, menu → Install app. Native iOS and Android shells are also available.
